Disfluency Controlled

For my Senior Design Thesis, I was asked to address a personal or social issue, and provide a solution using design. Through a series of posters, I address what it feels like to be a person who stutters, increase public knowledge about the problem, provide support, and a solution.

I created a series of illustrated heads of famous stutterers that the audience could interact with by peeling off the tape covering the person's mouth to "let them speak.” Opening this flap would not only reveal the person's mouth, but also a summary of who that person is and how stuttering has affected his/her life.
